I went through a spate of these some time ago, and another wave has just washed over me. It's easy for me to defend, because I can bring up the book info and illustrate balance in battle results etc. However, whilst I may choose to think that these accusations are brought about by a pride for one's armed forces and their achievements, and a wish for all things American to be seen as No1, I must give the matter some more thought. I have said elsewhere that I am unable to produce a US hero who can win the war by teatime, but I did feel, with the 101st soldiers, Towers, the Black Widow boys, Hardegen, Brennan and a plethora of other competent US soldiers, that I had presented myself as, at the least, even in my approach. I know I have included some idiots in US uniform, but there are also such figures acros the range of Allied troops, so Im not just singling out the US. Or am I? Genuinely interested to know what the feelings of the readership are. Bearing in mind, the scenario is shifting from a surprised defence to a rienforced and belligerent offensive minded Allied Army, which is likely to bring more success for the US and others in future; even-handed success I hope :-)

I don't see a Anti-American bias in RG. I'm American, and I enjoy the series immensely. The accusers must have missed the parts with Crisp and the 101st.
