Myself, I would like to see some jet fighter vs jet fighter action, so maybe the MiG 9. Also, the SG-43, Mosin M44, MAS 36, Super Pershing, T92 howitzer Motor carriage. You guys have any ideas?

I have many many ideas, and all of them will happen :-) Just remember, war gives development urgency, and i can and will accelerate the appearance of the weapons of war. However, that has to be in a believable way. The T54/55 has already made a 'test' appearance. I have spoken about production of the IS-4. By all means make up a list, it should be fun, but try to put stuff there if it is feasible within RG, and if its development would have taken place in preference to existing weapons of war :-)

Let me give you a 'for instance'.

If WW2 had not ended, how would the US have developed the Sherman? Would they have been content to sit on the Pershing and Super Pershing? WOuld they have continued to produce the well-proven M4 chassis and equipped it with some other weaponry?

There has been some talk of producing the Maus and E100 et al. Stuff and nonsense, I hope you agree. No way would the Allies or the new German Republic undertake such foolishness.

Yes, I agree that they'd be not likely to try to produce the Maus or anything like that. They'd probably stick to what they currently have, and maybe produce new systems that aren't too expensive or difficult. I'd like to see the SG-43, after all the Soviets have it and would have put it in use alongside the Maxim. I would also like to see rifles like the MAS 44-it was manufactured on a somewhat small scale for the Marine Commandos for use in Indochina, but I think that with the war going on, the Marine Coms may have been kept in France for the war in Europe, like Knocke and his boys. I'm also curious if other French weapons like the FM 24/29 machine gun and the MAS 36 would see any action as well. Probably at the beginning, with the FFI based units of the French Army like the 14th Infantry.
