Writing is underway, although I abandoned over 1k worth on B-29 rudder cables lol Dont ask! Im writing at a good speed, and defintely hope to have this one in less of a rush than Sacrifice. Dont forget the FB groups, where conversation is more dynamic, although a lot of members seem to have a drinking habit! | |

I have finished the first four books and started "Sacrifice" today. I love this series and it has got to be one of the better "alternate fiction" series I have read. So detailed and the battle descriptions are wonderful. I am U.S. Army veteran who was a tanker and I love reading the tank action in the books. Can't wait for book 6! Any guess on when it might come out? | |

on the super pershing/M46 would you be allowing for montly production figures close to those of the sherman tank (1943/1944 production runs) in US factories of approximately 1250 tanks a month. The on paper strenght of the 100 or so US tank battalions in the field was around 5000 tanks with 1700 light tanks. 4 months production would outfit US forces in the field. (ignoring battle losses for the moment). | |

On that, I am not yet sure. There is the issue of trained crews, so regardless of number of tanks, we need bums in pews. Conversion should be reasonably swift. I suspect that the US woudl plump for one or the other, not both, for full production, which probably makes the M46 favourite. Ive envisaged Super Pershings being sent to both China and Europe, but not yet in numbers. I also figured that production might drop beloew previous norms as the M46 was [I believe] more of an engineering problem than M4s. M24s will have their role, phasing out M5s etc. I also think that TD production will continue, but Im unclear at what pace. | |

progress report. Now on 53118 words @ 174 pages. Had some tricky sections to deal with, which bogged me down a lttle, but now I should be able to move forward at good speed. | |
