THE RED GAMBIT SERIES

I hope to run some competitions over the coming months/years, for both Red Gambit and what comes next.

The first one requires some thought from any entrant.

I have been asking for people's favourite character for some time now, across the range of RG media.

The following are the characters from the series, up to and including Sacrifice, that received more than one vote.

I would like you to place them in order of popularity, from top to bottom. ie if you think that Patton is the majority favourite, then name him first.

The list is:-

Nazarbayeva, Ramsey Crisp, Knocke, Stelmakh, Koster, Yarishlov, Eisenhower, Patton, Stalin, Bluebear, Lohengrin. If any characters are tied, then I wont quibble if you place one above the other.

Your submissions should be made my private message to me on this site, and look something like this.

1-Knocke

2-Crisp

3-Koster

etc etc

So long as it is clear. One entry only per site, so if you are a member on more than one site, you get double chance. The winnder will received a choice from [1] a signed book with personal insciption decided by you, purchased and sent at my own cost to anywhere in the world or [2] a piece of Red Gambit history or merchandising from a list, similarly signed, purchased and sent by myself or [3], if the winner is in the UK, a visit to my own home and a chance to use the new wargaming facility and/or swing the lead with a few beers.

The competition will stay open until mid-december, which gives you all plenty of time to think. It is free to enter. All that I ask is that you are a fan of the series.

[PS- I have a method of tiebreaking that will involve points for near-misses. if that fails, then i will set the tied parties a question or two to break the tie. My decision is final, but will, at all times, be fair and unbiased.]
