Sometimes, things come to pass with a certain synchronisity that worries me. The 11th day of the 11th month has always been a benchmark day for me; one where i can have my moment of self-reflection and remember those who sacrificed so much. So it is coincidence that it is also the day that my first book, Opening Moves, crosses the boundary of ten thousand sales. Perhaps, by my own efforts, I have enlightened one or two as to what those men actually faced during those difficult times. I hope they will all be in your thoughts at 11am on this day. | |
