And if so, will it go the it's intended standard name as the U.S. Rifle, Cal. .30, M2? Also, will any other new weapon systems or vehicles make a appearance?

M2. No clues on the other new stuff but you can work some of it out if you think about what was needed :-)

A couple of weapon systems I was hoping to see in RG was the MAS 44 rifle and the M3A1 machine gun, the name for the US version of the MG-42 in .30. Would it be possible to see either in Endgame?

ive given this some thought. I think the MAS is a leap too far forward to see it in general issue in 1947. Do you mean the MG3 version of the MG42 as issued to the german Army?

The US War Department requested that the Saginaw Steering Gear division of General Motors build two prototype copies of the German MG42 in .30-06 during the war

The MAS 44, not the 49, isn't too far forward, IMO. After all, serial production started in early 1945, with 50,000 rifles ordered in January of that year even though only 6,200 were delivered to the Marine Nationale. The huge numer of American, British, captured German and older French rifles. on-hand stopped the initial plans to issue the MAS Mle 1944 en masse to the military. Instead production of the cheaper Mle 1936 went ahead since this rifle was already in service in quantity. MAS 44 production was ended a few months after the war stopped. Despite this the weapon's design turned out to be a complete success among units equipped with it. The limited production run of rifles would serve in combat with the Marine Commandoes in Indochina starting in 1946 where it gained a reputation for reliability. I was thinking that in the world of RG, MAS 44 production might well be restarted, to provide the French military with a semi auto rifle for more firepower, because the US might be limited as to how many Garands they could export, and also because maybe the French might want to see a native French design in service. Then again, I was hoping to see more French weapons in action. After all, we get to see American, British, German and Soviet, and I would've liked to see other types of weaponry as well. http://www.virdea.net/french/mas-auto.html https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MAS-49_rifle And I didn't mean the modern MG3. I meant that during the war, Savage Arms of the US designed a version of the MG-42 chambered in US .30 (7.62mm) . I posted a link to a FreeRepublic.com discussion thread mentioning it. http://www.redgambitseries.com/apps/forums/topics/show/13187045-the-invasion-of-nippon-the-t28-project?page=1 You found it to be rather interesting, if I recall.

One problem I have is that I am inundated with information and often stuff gets lost or I get confused:-) I try to keep notes on stuff but I still miss things.

That no doubt happens to a lot of authors. No biggie.
