with the tech still racing ahead some items in use in 43 and 44 are death traps now. So what do you do with it all. pick a items and tell us how you would make it worth while on the battle field of Endgame. that means it would have to be something that could be turned out quickly to be able to put the number in the field. I will start with the M4 Sherman. I feel that the M4A3E2 and M4A3E8 and DD drives Sherman's are still of some use on the battlefield (maybe be refitting them with diesel engines) now all of those other death traps how about ripping the turrets off and turning them into APC like the Kangaroo. they would last longer than the M3/5 halftracks. Or how about taking the same low powered 75mm gun and replacing them with Skink AA turrets. making the turrets and 20mm cannons would help France, Holland, Norway and other countries industries get back on there feet. they just would need the plans that were already drawn up in 1944. Enemy Aircraft are not that big of an issue but as we know in Endgame. that is not always the case. quad 20mm in a more survivable carrier could be used to counter enemy light tanks and the large number of enemy ground troops. so what do you all think. and who is nest

For my part, I certainly think that Germany could make wirbelwinds and similar out of the Panzer IVs. Proven combination. I'll say no more until others speak :-)

the wirbelwinds were opened topped and had no armor and took some time to drop the sides to go into combat. the Skink was a tank turret armor , thin but it was there. I would think Panzer IV hulls would be better used making jagpazers or other AT systems. https://www.facebook.com/defensionem/photos/pcb.1195664793813986/1195664767147322/?type=3&theater

wirbelwinds fired from travelling position in a purpose built turret. You may be thinking of the ostwind, mate. Skinks were ok to a point as I understand. the need for SPAA in an environment dominated by you own air force is one that needs thinking about. sp usage is good but I wonder how large a weapon the IV chassis can take. The JgPz IV was potent of course, but would be less so in the more advanced RG world.
