What an experience. have just spent six hours trying to interpret what I am being told as nothing is straightforward. Files dont open, dont convert or dont appear.

I could have published OM at midnight but for Amazons incredibly useless system for converting doc files into ebook format.

Im now downloading openoffice to convert doc files into something which SIGIL may find more attractive to convert, as Amazons conversion programmes seem intent on making me dribble with rage....or are they intent on making you use Amazon professional services to publish your books at cost.....you decide!

I have mobicreator, kindlegen and kindle previewer which, in the words of the great Olfin Bedwir of Reget, are about as much use as a flaming chocolate fireguard!!!

Hopefully i will get the damn thing published before having a psychiatric breakdown.

I may even have to pay for it, which will have an interesting but negative effect on my intention to publish the bio's free.

Im totally floundering and this is absolutely the most awful and wretched experience, so much so I am thinking of taking the ebooks elsewhere, if only for the stress reduction!!!!
