the e-books are still not perfect alas. however, all is not lost. I am preparing an all-singing all-dancing update for kindle which will improve everything, as well as giving an active menu and ncx file. the book can be upgraded at no extra cost so, if you can love with the rubbish pagination at times, download it by all means. It can be updated when you choose. I will advise when that update is available. One issue spotted was with the 'th' in 12th and similar. Some sort of superscript inserted itself which threw the lines out. many thanks to LAzarus who has helped brilliantly with moving the book closer to perfection of presentation, if not content :-)

The revamp is nearing its end and fingers crossed it will address all the issues we have spotted on kindle. Please do let us know if you spot anything else once we have put out version5, which we hope will be the final all-singing, all-dancing version. Thanks for your patience people :-)

Physical copies of the book are now available at createspace. At the moment they are expensive and my return on each seems ridiculously low but I know some folk prefer the real thing in their greasy paw. http://www.amazon.com/Opening-Moves-Gambit-Series-Volume/dp/1468145134/ref=sr_1_3?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1333433038&sr=1-3 [priced at $19.99] http://www.amazon.com/Opening-Moves-Biographies-Companion-Series/dp/1468149814/ref=sr_1_5?s=books&ie=UTF8&qid=1333433249&sr=1-5 [priced at $6.00]

I'm brand new to the series (almost done reading Opening Moves), and I was wondering if there are many differences between the print and e-book versions of the books? I'm mainly curious as to whether there is added changes in content to the e-version not found in print. BTW, great job on the first book! I'm hooked already.

No differences whatsoever, except in the books the maps work just fine :-) Thanks for the compliment!
