Just a personal liking for what might have been an excellent tank in mid to late 1945. If you want to add something from Speer's bag of tricks you could also slip in the German AT Guided Missle that was almost ready in 1945. Also, there were some US heavy tanks sitting around in the States unused because Eisenhauer saw no need for them in 1944 that could be shipped over to play with the Soviet big tanks.

You mean the X7. I know for a fact that it saw small service in WW2. Its in teh list so no wories on that score. the Panther II is always possible, but I must look at production capacity and whether it is wise to change. The T14 was worse than useless. Same 75mm, thicker armour but reduced speed and agility.

Given the huge preasure put on the allies i think one possible reaction might have been to combine some german and american technology. Like combining the general layout and armament of a Panther with a american power plant. I personly think the potential would be largest in the field or armor and anti armor weapons. Maybe follwoed by infantry equipment like the MG42, SG44, and panzerfaust. Submarine might be another field but of less use.

I really wouldnt think thatthere was a need for any submarine production to be honest. The Allied navies would have been so superior. It would be the Soviets who would need that [ie more Elecktrobootes]. The problem with much of the weapons is the tooling required and setting up a production line. It would be wholly imprctical [in my opinion] for a US based line to set up for Panthers, but much more plausible for one in France to do so, if the tooling existed and if the Germans were prepared to release it. I think production of the panzerfaaust is a wholly different matter, and one that I have already decided upon. I've been examining new information on intact production facilities for german industry in 1945, and found one or two quite interesting things. Once I have checked them thoroughly, I expect to start inserting some new goods in old units. However, one word of caution. There will n ot be anything outlandish. EVerything in RG thus far is either true, achievable or likely. I'm not going to alter that, no matter how alluring the thought of a division of British produced TigerII's might seem :-) Thanks for your contribution.
