Excellent. I'm quite relieved thatthe feedback thus far is good. There are some differences in Impasse that had made me a little nervous :-) I hope you enjoy.

SPOILER ALERT: Finished reading Impasse today and I gotta admit you really made me feel sorry for the GRU Major General, Navabaryez (I know I spelled her name wrong). I really hope in future books she gets her revenge upon Beria. I love the twist and turns in the book also. I thought Leander was going to be a cliche - inept soldier who becomes a hero and goes home triumphantly, but nope, you yanked that thought away when I got near the end of Impasse. Loved it because I never saw it coming.

Sacrifice awaits lol You have the same opinion as everyone else. Sympathy for Nazarbayeva... hatred for Beria... and a wish to see him die horribly. The unfortunate thingh about cliched people is that they actually existed. I suppose Knocke is a cliche... and Ramsey et al.... I try to write my characters as indivuduals with their own strengths and weaknesses and to hell with the rest.
