On the eastern flank, the second kompagnie of 675 Panzer Pioniere Batallion come under fire, Again, the German commander decided to rush the river line, and in this case employed lorries in the fire zone. A hidden 6pdr disabled the lorry with a direct hit on the rear wheel, killing one of the occupants.
