Wargaming for 46 years now (good grief - that's scary when you write it down) and am starting to win the odd one or two now. Interested in military history and especially 'what ifs'. Have a long suffering wife of 31 years,a daughter in college and a son who chucks Scimitar around the countryside for a living. Spent a bit of time with TA until the wheezing noises everyone heard from me still hours after a 18 mile tab were a little more than an out of shape 'wannabe' but my old childhood nemesis of asthma had raised its head once more. Love everything about our armed forces and proud of everyone of them. Now have to limit my battles to the table and have built up a sizeable collection in 20mm although I have had to make cutbacks recently (make a good defence minister [tongue in cheek ]) as I like to game 121 and had full strength battalions of most WW2 protagonists.
